Prior to Firmwater, he spent five years at Lachesis Solutions where he helped to start the company's web-based testing and surveying service. Along with leading a team of developers, Stefan played an active role in technical client management including successfully transforming Franklin Covey's 360 degree assessment processes from a purely paper process to a paper-less web application.
Stefan received a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo in 1996. He captains the national Canadian Australian football team and plays squash competitively.
Jan Vopalensky
Principal
Prior to Firmwater, Jan implemented a generic web-based reporting system designed to handle large-volume of report generation traffic at Lachesis Solutions - an Internet Application Service Provider.
In addition to Web applications, Jan has worked on several personal communication products for Symantec, and large call center information management systems for Nortel Networks and Bell-Northern Research.
Jan received a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto in 1983. He finds pleasure, somehow, in Nordic skiing.
